Sales Representative: Canada

Are you fluent in French and English and have a strong sales background? Spy Optic, a developer and distributor of premium eyewear products is seeking a highly motivated, Eastern Canada Territory Manager/Inside Sales Representative. This position reports to the Regional Sales Director and is based out of our Carlsbad, California headquarters.

*Fluency in French and English is required for the position.

**Must be able to present evidence of U.S. Citizenship or proof of current legal right to live and work in the United States.



Responsibilities:

Sales

  1. Contact accounts daily to solicit sales orders.
  2. Contact Outside reps daily to understand their route so you know what account s to call.
  3. Develop a calling plan that will insure all accounts are serviced frequently as needed.
  4. Evaluate and suggest accounts for financial and market strength.
  5. Review all reports for specified region to insure prompt delivery of goods.


Operations

  1. Monitor and enforce an ordering cycle with accounts that ensure they are called upon on a regular basis.
  2. Assist with the sales order processing procedures to ensure all orders are received and processed per procedure.
  3. All orders received are entered the day they are received.
  4. Ensure back order reports are monitored and processed for all accounts within your region.
  5. Assist outside reps with internal sales reports to help ensure goals are met.


Accounting

  1. Assist with Accounting Department with collections as needed
  2. Monitor credit limits and notify Accounting Department if accounts limit requires adjustment.
  3. Provide Accounting Department with information to open new accounts.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Great Plains software a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work in an autonomous environment with minimal direction or supervision
  • Ability to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly workload
  • Knowledge of the Action Sports industry a plus


Compensation: Base plus commission
